Moses and Aaron

Moses returns to Egypt with Aaron. God warns Pharaoh will resist. Moses and Aaron confront Pharaoh; God promises to deliver Israel with mighty acts.
Part 3.3
The plagues

God sends plagues on Egypt—blood, frogs, gnats, flies, livestock disease, boils, hail, locusts, darkness—but Pharaoh’s heart remains hardened despite Moses’ warnings.

The first passover

Final plague kills Egyptian firstborns. Israelites celebrate Passover, and plan to flee. In the dark night God shows His power but spares the Israelites
Part 3.5
Deliverance

God parts the Red Sea; Israelites cross safely. Egyptians drown. Moses and Miriam lead songs of praise celebrating God’s power and deliverance.
Part 3.6
Gifts from heaven

Israelites journey through the wilderness, grumble over water and food. God provides manna, quail, and water from a rock. Amalekites defeated with God’s help.
Part 3.7
Ten commandments

Jethro advises Moses to delegate leadership. At Sinai, God gives the Ten Commandments, revealing His covenant and holiness with thunder, smoke, and fire.
Part 3.8
The covenant

Israelites fear God’s presence. Moses relays God’s laws on worship, justice, and social conduct. Covenant confirmed with blood; Moses ascends to meet God.

Tabernacle instructions

God gives detailed instructions for the Tabernacle, Ark, table, lampstand, altar, and courtyard—sacred space for His dwelling among the Israelites.
Part 3.10
Priestly instructions

.God outlines priestly garments for Aaron’s family and the ordination process, emphasizing holiness, offerings, and consecration for serving in the Tabernacle.
Part 3.11
Ritual instructions

Instructions continue: incense altar, atonement tax, basin, anointing oil, Sabbath observance. God appoints craftsmen and gives Moses the stone tablets of the covenant.
Part 3.12
Golden calf

Israel worships a golden calf. Moses intercedes; tablets are broken then renewed. God reveals His character and renews His covenant with Israel.
Part 3.13
Building the tabernacle

Israelites generously donate materials. Skilled workers build the Tabernacle’s furnishings, curtains, altar, and courtyard exactly as God commanded through Moses.
Part 3.14
God’s glory on earth

Construction finishes; inventory recorded. Priestly garments made. Moses sets up the Tabernacle. God’s glory fills it, guiding Israel with cloud by day, fire by night.
